Let’s talk about something nobody really wants to talk about:colon cancer.
We get it—it’s not exactly cocktail party conversation. But it should be. And that’s why we’re doing something about it… with comedy.
Because when something’s uncomfortable to bring up, sometimes the best way in is a laugh.
This March 19th in Chicago, there’s a FREE Colon Cancer Screening Event, and we’re asking you to help spread the word—one video share at a time.
🩺 Meet the Doctor Behind the Movement: Dr. Andrew Albert
This life-saving campaign wouldn’t be possible without Dr. Andrew Albert, a leading Chicago gastroenterologist and one of the nation’s most vocal advocates for colon cancer screening.
Dr. Albert’s mission is clear: get more people screened early, and save lives through prevention. His tireless efforts have already helped thousands—and now, he’s teamed up with comedians and creatives to reach even more.
Together with comedian and filmmaker Brett Walkow and the team at HappyTown Fundraisers, this unique awareness campaign was born.
🎬 Using Comedy to Deliver a Serious Message
We didn’t make a PSA.We made comedy sketches.
We made people laugh. We made them uncomfortable in a good way. We made sure no one could ignore the message:👉 Colon cancer is preventable. Get screened.
The videos are outrageous. They’re weird. They’re funny. And they work—because they reach people who might otherwise scroll right past a serious post.
🗣️ What You Can Do to Help
Here’s how you can be part of this:
✔️ Watch the videos✔️ Share them with friends, coworkers, family✔️ Tag someone who needs a reminder✔️ Visit www.BackOffColonCancer.org to get all the info on the FREE screening event
Colon cancer affects millions every year. Early detection saves lives. You never know who your share might help.

This campaign is the kind of project we live for at HappyTown Fundraisers—one where comedy drives real impact.
With Brett Walkow at the creative helm and Dr. Andrew Albert leading the medical mission, we created something unforgettable: a video series that’s as hilarious as it is important.
